Kodak Kodacolor II

This is the first colour film in this batch. Kodacolor II was produced between 1972 and 1983, and was the first Kodak consumer film to use the C-41 process. It took the company decades to improve and refine the process.

The roll was developed in Tetenal Colortek C-41 kit at the standard temperature of 38 °C. There was only one image on the roll, the rest was unexposed. Technically, my attempt at rescuing the film failed. Nonetheless, I like this image. It is vaguely reminiscent of John Nanian's art. The colours are weird and yet subtle, and there is just enough of the latent image remaining to capture the viewer's attention. Is this a double-exposure? A photograph taken through the glass?
